Our Grill

At Caminito, we pride ourselves on grilling the Argentinean way, using a hardwood fire below traditional cast iron grill grates.  This style of grilling produces juicy steaks flavored by coarse salt, fire, and smoke which have the sort of perfect charring, that only wood fire can produce.  Our steaks are in fact not from Argentina, but are actually raised domestically, and sourced to have been farmed in a similar style as those found in Argentine pastures.  We use beef that has been certified Natural Black Angus, meaning, hormone-free, vegetable fed only, and non caged, cruelty-free lifestyle.  The exception being our tenderloin a.k.a. filet mignon, which is all-natural, pasture-raised beef, from Australia.

The selection of hard woods that our grill is fueled with, are sourced locally and harvested sustainably.  The types we most often cook with include; oak, maple, cherry, apple, and hickory.  At Caminito you can enjoy just the type of meal you could at a classic American steakhouse, but with something more. Something brought to life by the involvement of flavors and traditional grilling methods of Argentina.  The balance of the whole meal and experience is perfectly complimented by our extensive selection of fine Argentinean wines, and newly introduced selection of Argentinean microbrews.

We hope that diners will visit us with the same appetite that one would bring to a traditional American steak house, as well as an appetite for the flavor that only fire can awaken!
